Programme Highlights
HK Electric has unveiled the upgraded Smart Power Gallery 2.0 (SPG 2.0), offering visitors a revitalised and interactive experience that showcases the Company’s energy transformation and commitment to sustainability.
The gallery is divided into three thematic zones:
Ground Floor—Powering a Sustainable Future: Interactive exhibits explain how HK Electric generates, transmits and distributes power, while also showcasing its climate strategies and adoption of emerging energy technologies. Multimedia displays guide visitors through the Company’s 135-year history, highlighting key milestones.
1st Floor—Transition to Zero Carbon: Exhibits compare various renewable energy sources and introduce the PEDF system—an innovative solution that integrates photovoltaic (P) generation, energy storage (E), direct current distribution (D), and flexible energy management (F), designed for next-generation green buildings.
2nd Floor—Electrification and Energy Management: Interactive games and equipment displays, including an EV fast charger and a portable battery energy storage system designed for construction sites, provide visitors with hands-on experience that demonstrate the benefits of electrification and smart, low-carbon living.
3rd & 4th Floors: Multi-purpose spaces designed for STEAM workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.

- The number of participants is limited to 30 numbers.
- Applications will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis and priority will be given to members of Electrical division.
- Successful applicants will be notified one week before the event.
- An electronic copy CPD certificate will be issued to attendees within one month after the event.
- The organizer reserves the right to disqualify and terminate those non-properly registered participants.
